VEKN FRANCE and VEKN PARIS are pleased to offer you a VTES weekend on April 25&26/2026

Saturday April 25, 2026, the 2026 French draft championship will be held.
Sunday April 26, 2026 we will host a constructed tournament.


Concerning the French draft championship, we will draft the box designated by BCP and me.
The event will be limited to the first 40 registrants.

Concerning the constructed tournament on Sunday, it will also be limited to the first 40 registered.


The Saturday entry price will be €40.
You will receive 7 “boosters” per person and there will be prizes for everyone.

The entry price on Sunday will be €13.
There will be prizes for everyone.

Concerning the entry fee, you can pay:
- by sending your money to my personal Paypal (berlintremere@gmail.com).
Please, use "friend transfer" (otherwise I will ask you to pay the cost of Paypal insurance)
- by cash only (no credit card) the day of the draft. Please bring the exact change

# SATURDAY : FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP DRAFT
The day of the draft, you will then receive 7 ziploc of 11 cards containing:
- 3 vampires
- 1 rare card
- 2 uncommon cards
- 5 common cards
Of course, do not open them until the draft starts!

All the cards are tournament legal!
All the cards you draft are yours to keep!

The rules of deckbuilding are the following (based on the official limited tournament rules):
- 7 vampires at minimum
- 35 library cards minimum
- 1 recursion (each of the 3 rounds, you will have 1 possibility to use 1 discard action to shuffle your discard pile with your library to get a new library)


# SUNDAY : "EXTREMIS BOON" (CONSTRUCTED TOURNAMENT)
- It will be a normal constructed Tournament
- Proxys are allowed, but color and readable
- Opaque sleeves are mandatory.



# ADDRESS & TRANSPORT :
EPITA
14-16 rue Voltaire

(close to "Boulevard Périphérique", the highway that goes around Paris")
- Metro Line 7
"Porte d’Italie" (650m by walk) or "le Kremlin Bicètre" (750m by walk)
- From Gare de Lyon : (35-40 mins) Use Metro Line 1 or 14 to "Chatelet-Les-Halles", and Metro Line 7 as described above
- From Gare du Nord : (30-35 mins) Use RER Line B to "Cité Universitaire", then, Tram "T3A" to "Porte d'Italie" (then 650m by walk)
- By Car : Boulevard Péripique and exit "Porte d'Italie"
But it will be expensive to park your car.

Another option is to park your car at "TORCY RER STATION" for exemple.
It's 30km away from Paris, 1 hour away from EPITA by transport (RER "A" > Change at Chatelet-Les-Halles > Metro Line 7 [See above] ), but park at "TORCY RER STATION" is free (a good point when you live in the suburbs !)

There are several hotels next to EPITA :

- Outside, there is many choices for restaurant (Pizza, Corean, Turkish, etc), one grocery, ...
- I think we will able to sell you some drinks, and sweets.

### CONTENT OF THE DRAFT BOX
- The "draft box" contains 880 cards from a set of 382 different cards.
- Each box has a fixed content, just as current VTES bundles.
Cards in this box are a selection that we tried to balance as best as we can.
The rarity system is reintroduced to set quantities of card copies in this box.
(Rarity would be printed with a symbol gold / silver / bronze)
"Draft effects" are back ! (it's an alternate card text, only usable on draft events)

The goal of this box is to provide all necessary to prepare 80 "boosters" for draft.
You can divide those 80 boosters on different ways : 10 for 8 players, 8 for 10 players, 5 for 16 players, 4 for 20 players, ...

Simulating "boosters" can be made with whatever you want, papers for example.
For this event, i would use ziploc
