Le bonheur est lorsque la proie joue Weenies ou Mid-Cap, mais avec 60 cartes de Corruption, tous les vampires de la proie et de la petite proie finissent dans notre région. Après, le warm est trop important pour que les autres methusalems puissent faire quoi que ce soit.

Comment: Bon deck de tournoi avec beaucoup d’actions cross table, qui nécessite une bonne dose de diplomatie. Le module bloat n’est pas très performant mais il est compensé par module défensif complet et le nombre important d’actions très agressives.
Ce deck remporta l’édition 2004 du tournoi "Ritual Challenge".

Comment: Deck Serpentis/Dominate extrêmement efficace. Ses résultats en tournois ne sont plus à démontrer.
Cette version privilégie les retainer de boost bleed au détriment des actions de vol de vampires. Ceci se traduit par une plus grande prise de risque, car je préfère faire des gros bleed avec les vampires des autres plutôt qu’avec les miens.
A noter aussi l’absence de Secure Haven.

Comment: Deck Wormwood/Corruption basé sur le deck Corrupted Swarm. La sortie de Wormwood au plus tôt est vitale. Le risque principal du deck est le hand jam, car les discard phase sont utilisées principalement pour poser les event qui réduisent généralement la taille de la main.

6.6 Tap&Bleed
Comment: Un jour, un ancien champion national me dit qu’il ne voyait pas l’intérêt d’un deck T&B Setite, alors que ce clan avait tout le stealth dont il avait besoin. Le problème d’un B&S classique, c’est qu’il est ultra focus et absolument pas cross table, ce qui n’est pas le cas d’un T&B.
Ce type de deck permet aussi de retarder le tour où l’on se fait ouster en rappelant à son prédateur que le minion qui a un Mind Numb ou un Mind Rape risque d’être engagé pour toujours. Cependant, la vraie limite à ce type de deck est si le prédateur ne le croit pas et veut rendre ce genre de cartes une fois la proie oustée, comme cela m’est arrivé à Antwerpen, avant de réaliser que sa Howler était définitivement coincée. Mais là, il était déjà trop tard.

Comment: Etrange crypte pour un deck Bleed avec seulement 3 vampires avec Presence au supérieur, qui voudrait être compensée par les 3 Summoning. Dans ce type de deck, Ezekiel, Lord of Montreal semble incontournable.
Le module Stealth semble un peu léger.
Il n’y a aucune défense anti-vote, afin de contrer un changement de place inopportun.
Je rajouterais plus de Blood Doll ou d’Anarch Troublemaker afin de pouvoir les contester et remplacerais volontiers Fragment of the Book of Nod totalement indéfendable par Dreams of the Sphinx.
A noter la présence étonnante d’Amam the Devourer qui ne bleed pas.
La partie Tap&Bleed est excellente et très variée.

6.7 Troublemaker
Comment: Paralyser un joueur qui doit perdre son temps à défaire ce que ce type de deck lui pose dessus, c’est l’empêcher d’agir, donc de nuire, ce qui est somme toute la meilleure des protections. Serpentis fourmille de cartes toutes plus amusantes les unes que les autres, ce qui fait que le type troublemaker est populaire au sein du clan et vraiment performant, car toujours varié. Par contre, si la proie a un jeu qui ne fait pas d’action (Anson ou wall pur), ce type de deck n’a aucune chance.

Comment: Deck plutôt lent, d’où la présence des Millicent Smith. La combinaison de Call of the Hungry Dead et Elder Impersonation l’immunise quasiment à cette master, tout en ralentissant les autres. Il possède, en plus des Blood Doll, un module bloat assez original. Tout se passe à l’untap : utilisation de Baleful Doll sur un vampire de la proie qui tombe à 0 blood, puis utilisation de la Form of Corruption (de préférence posée au supérieur, mais ce n’est pas une obligation) à la master phase, et pour finir, sacrifice du vampire récupéré par Khobar Towers à l’untap suivant, en ayant pris soin de poser de nouveau une nouvelle Form of Corruption et une nouvelle Baleful Doll.
A noter aussi que si la cible de la Baleful Doll venait à disparaître, on peut toujours engager son porteur pour la détruire afin d’aller en chercher une autre plus utile.

Comment: Mon premier deck Setite joué en tournois. C’est un deck Swarm, mais avec les vampires des autres. Il prend beaucoup de temps à se poser, mais une fois installé, il est inexorable, ce qui demande beaucoup de diplomatie pour arriver à ce stade de la partie.

6.8 Vote&Troublemaker
Comment: Presence est une discipline de clan, il est donc naturel que malgré la quasi-absence de voie, les Setite votent. Free States Rant est leur vote favori, car il accélère la partie troublemaker, permet le cross table, peut paralyser un joueur et est surtout celui qui est le plus facile à faire passer.
Cependant, en vote pur, le clan est beaucoup moins performant que les Ventrue ou les Toreador.

Comment: Deck basé sur le pouvoir de Khay'tall afin d’être sûr de passer n’importe quel vote. Le module Reformation/Revelation-of-Desire semble une très bonne idée, si ce n’est que les vampires avec Serpentis supérieur sont trop chers et précieux pour risquer un bleed pour seulement 4.
Je ne suis pas sûr que le module bloat (Minion-Tap/Voter-Captivation) soit des plus performants avec des vampires sans voix et peu de push vote. Manque Charming Lobby, qui assure un push vote et permet d'assurer le changement de place.
Le module vote n’est pas assez diversifié, ce qui le rend vulnérable au Delaying Tactics .
De même, manque cruellement de Secure Haven dans un deck base sur un vampire quasiment indispensable. Je remplacerais volontiers Khobar Towers par Secure Haven.

Mais c’est surtout un wall actif, car il y a beaucoup d’actions agressives, et de ce fait un deck plus amusant à jouer que la plupart de ceux de cet archetype.
