Voici mon CR du tournois de ce samedi a Londres. Le CR est en Anglais, mais ça doit etre simple a lire, si vous avez des questions, n'hesitez pas!

First tournament in London in a long time!

We were 14 players, with some international presence as we have one player coming from the Netherlands and another from Switzerland!
After lot of playtesting and discussion with my two friends Iñaki Jimenez and Jorge Delgado, I decided to play a deck to make friends… not. So Montano purge, the version with small vampires around him with 63 cards. Very good choice.
For the reminder of the report I will use the name Pepper Master, also in the deckles, even though my proxies were of the card which initials are MR

Montano --> Helena (tzimisce v5) --> Niki (gio pot) --> Chris (Banu V5 vote) --> Mark (Tzimisce V5)
Dream table for me, the combat deck is far from me, my prey and predator playing same crypt and no intercept. I have a couple of small vamps out and then Montano.
I got a very slow start with a mediocre hand full of purges that I have t discard, then Montano goes out.
1st turn of Montano, Puppet Master on Branimira, FD, Baltimore purge
2st turn with Montano out. Branimira eats Adrino and burns leaving my red with only one 3-capacity vampire. Then Montano diablerise one Giovanni with votes cross table (he had 7 bloods), and grave robing superior on my prey’s Angel Guerro. Then 1 of my vampires plays Ancient Influence and another Reins of power. The dream turn. At the end I have quite a lot of pool, Montano, Angel Guerrero, 2-3 small vampires and the game is a formality, I let Chriss gets his vp while I kill everybody else in the right order.

Ian (Stanislava) —> Montano —> Pedro (Salubri v5) —> Willem (Anson Vampiric Disease) —> Mark (Tzimisce V5)
Slow start of Ian without any crypt acceleration, I got out Montano and 1-2 small vampires, Mark gets out a couple of vampires. Pedro has a good start, Willem gets Anson and starts putting counters of vampiric disease around the table, he played one vampiric disease in Montano, which is not great with all my Freak drives… anyway I come today to the tournament just to purge vampires, so I play a purge with the Fueled by Heart's Blood. Next turn I steal Stanislava with Graverobing superior, some diableries, I have to push to eat Willem’s Jessica and to let my prey get one vp while ensuring that Mark gets his VP. In the configuration with 3 players, I manage to get Pedro out of wakes and oust him before he could get Mark, the duel is a formality as I have lots of vampires.

Pedro (Salubrious) —> Chris (Band) —> Montano —> Simon (Shambling Hordes)
When you play purge decks you know that there is always one round where you are likely going to score 0.
Simon gets lots of pool with Liquidations, Pedro develops well. Chris gets 3 vampires out, I have Montano and a couple of other vampires.
My purges are not as good as the previous round as I don’t draw my freak drives, so my turns are not explosive at all, at the end, Pedro manages to oust Chriss just before Chriss could oust me when I was at 5 pool, I have to try to kill Simon, so Reins of Power that make me go to 3 or 2, but still no Freak Drive, so Simon is at 6 at the end of my turn, then Liquidation and he is out of reach again. Pedro’s vampires are very low, the shambling hordes sent my vampires to torpor at a point that I’m at 2 on my turn with all my vampires empty and only 2 pool, there is a big chance that Simon would kill Pedro aiming for GW3, it is clear that no matter what I will score 0, so I decided to transfer out, so Pedro gets a second VP, and in duel, Simon manages to oust him.

I managed to delay Chriss with a Puppet Master and emptying Kasim with Heidelberg Castle, while being nice to my two allies (they can pick the vamp going to torpor) and I give lots of intercept to Pedro with Marcianna Giovanni. Chriss is worried of my possible Baltimore purge, so decided to get vampires full of blood in the inactive region so he can get 2 more vampires at once. A big bleed from Pedro bounced to him and some bleeds from Niki are enough to oust him. I keep a constant press ion on James, with regular small bleeds, then purge, and I stole one baron, a second purge later and another baron is eaten by Montano, James missed Pedro for 2 pool. I am very low on pool, so Niki could potentially oust me, so I let 3 tiny vampires unlocked (Marcianna, Cameron and Royce I think) with 1 deflection in hand as I’m at 5. I managed to out James, I did promised Pedro that I won’t try to chain him after killing James (Niki has more vampires and potency, so I prefer to have a duel with Pedro as his vampires are very low), Pedro misses his chance to oust Niki, luckily for him (and me) I have Enkil Cog and I can bleed on Pedro’s turn to be bounce to Nikki, I have a hand with lots of stealth, so Niki’s Channel 10 cannot stop Montano’s bleed. 1 vp for Pedro, but he is full locked and only at 7 pool, so it is just a matter of locking all my vampires to bleed to oust him and get the victory.

I’ve always loved to play Purge in the past with lots of different vampires (Lady Constanza, Arika, Stanislava,…), I managed in the past to get to the final with Arika BP but not winning a tournament, this time, Montano gets the Tournament Win!
The ambiance and the cool attitude of all the players in UK is legendary, and today wasn’t an exception, a pleasure to play with all of you.
