EC 2010 - Message to all coming to Paris

Message par floppyzedolfin »

Here's a quick recap about Paris' public transports: (a "t+" ticket is
a ticket with "t+" printed on it. It's the standard ticket, sold in
all subway booths and at desks in subway).

- A single "t+" ticket would bring you anywhere using the Metro. The
number of connections doesn't matter.
- A single "t+" ticket would bring you anywhere in Paris using the
RER. This can be used in connection with a Metro.
- A single "t+" ticket would let you use buses for 1h30m. Bus drivers
also sell tickets, which are usable on one bus only (no connection
possible).
- If you want to go outside Paris (that'd be using the RER - and,
possibly, the Metro), you'll have to buy a ticket to that place - and
another for the way back. (This works for Roissy airport too. If you want to go from Roissy to Paris, buy a "ticket to Paris" in Roissy. If you buy two of them, you'll have your way back ticket).

I filled in this link - I hope it'll be useful to you.
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 8&t=h&z=13
Quick description: The blue lines link the place to the closest Metro
entrance.

Reading the "Getting there" parts: We assume you'll be leaving from
the R.I.P.
Suppose you want to visit the Centre Georges Pompidou, a museum of
modern art:
"Getting there: Metro Line 3 (République), Metro Line 11 (Rambuteau)"
means "jump on line 3, stop at Republique, change to line 11, stop and
Rambuteau - you're there."

If there's any place you've heard of and want to visit, but have no
idea how to get there, please send me an email (floppyzedolfin /at/
gmail /dot/ com), I'll update the map.

Message to players:
The European Championship events (Legendary Vampire, Last Chance
Qualifier, EC Day 1, EC Day 2, First Chance Qualifier) will require
decklists and opaquely sleeved decks.
